REMO KAL: inhibited descaling and deoxidizing agent for professional systems and equipment
REMO KAL is an inhibited descaling and deoxidizing liquid, characterized by a slightly acidic appearance and a pinkish color. Its formulation contains specific inhibitors that prevent the solutions from attacking treated surfaces, making it suitable for descaling and oxidation removal operations in professional and industrial applications.
The product is suitable for the removal of limescale deposits and for deoxidizing operations without requiring, in most cases, preliminary cleaning. Exceptions only apply in situations characterized by the presence of particularly heavy or stubborn grease deposits.
REMO KAL is used in the maintenance of various types of systems and equipment, including boiler coils, dishwashers, washing machines, food processing systems, cooling systems, and radiators. The product can also be used to remove oxidation from metal surfaces through immersion or circulation treatments.
One of the product’s key features is the possibility of being circulated even inside steam generators operating at elevated temperatures, without risk of damage to system components. REMO KAL is also less corrosive to steel, brass, copper, and most metals compared to hydrochloric acid and other acids commonly used as descalers.
It is important to note that the product may attack cast iron if it is treated simultaneously with copper and brass. At the end of the treatment, surfaces generally do not require neutralization, but only thorough rinsing.
For use, it is recommended to use tanks and structures made of steel, preferably stainless steel. REMO KAL is generally used at concentrations between 10% and 30% v/v in water, depending on the amount of scale or rust to be removed, the type of operation to be carried out, and the nature of the materials being treated.
The treatment time can be significantly reduced by using the product at elevated temperatures, not exceeding 70°C. After the descaling phase, thorough rinsing must be carried out by circulation or with pressurized water.
For proper storage, the product must be kept in its original container at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C, in a well-ventilated area and away from incompatible substances.
